On 1st October 2018, the MOBI-AGE project team presented the project at the Annual Conference of the MIT Portugal Program, held at Culturgest in Lisbon, through a poster and presentation. The conference was attended by Manuel Heitor, Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Paulo Ferrão, president of the Foundation for Science and Technology and several MIT professors and researchers, including Dava Newman, program director at MIT. Nearly 200 participants among students, teachers, researchers and industrial partners could witness new developments and future opportunities, but also interact and create opportunities for new synergies in the various strategic areas under development and for development. The meeting was an opportunity to establish contacts between teams from various national and international institutions for possible future projects.
